And then there was Boo….
Miso… soooo many things….
i often refer to myself as a 18-year-old frat boy. clearly i am, in reality, an old woman, but occasionally my brain functions at that very low frat level.
for instance, i can’t see the word miso without saying - usually silently - “me so ho-nay”. i mean… seriously. wtf. it’s like i have some version of tourette syndrome. the dorky nerd version.
anyway, i bought this miso concentrate last week. i never noticed the name until i looked at it on the shelf yesterday. miso easy?? i AM easy! was this dropped divinely into my hands? well, the actual name is “miso & easy”. boring. like my life.
Frosty the Window.
it’s cold. the end.
Go with the flow.
it’s impossible to look at this sweet, quiet, icy river and not flash back to the time when it was an angry, unstoppable force that forever changed or ruined the lives of so many.
that was a very strange time here, i’ve never been so freaked out.
Refrigeration is everywhere. #estespark
i went snowshoeing for the first time ever on this day. it was cold. very, very verrrrrrry cold. going uphill is great! keeping warm, burning off some flab, helping my heart be healthy…. the downhill. oh. NO. SOOOOO cold! and, because you’re going faster, the back of your shoes flip snow up onto your ass and the backs of your legs which is NOT comfy.
what i learned: i need better gloves and thicker pants.
a positive of this cold weather: shove a bottle of white wine in the snow when the temp is below zero and it’s perfect for consumption in about 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
Happy Trails. #RMNP #AlbertaFalls
some happy snowshoeing person did this. cute. just prior to seeing this, i was noticing how my pole baskets made little flowers in the snow. or eyeballs.
i uploaded a multi-exposure thing on hipstamatic and i had not, until this moment, found success. it’s actually so perfect it’s kind of boring! but at least i learned a little bit about how the process works.
took the tree pic the day after our most recent snow. beautiful. then it got really cold and windy and i wanted to kill myself. so far i haven’t done that.
i just love how the camera focuses on one point and the rest blurs out a little. so pretty! good tree situation after the snow.
